Immerse yourself in cultural events: Each week, our residents and their guests enjoy top performers from around the community and the world, who present live music, theater, and dance concerts in our lovely four-story atrium. We offer something for every taste with regular samples of jazz, opera, and classical ballet, as well as a unique world-beat flavor with African, Celtic, Indonesian, and Asian rhythms. Throughout the year, our jewel-box venue hosts special performances by extraordinary artists, rivaling those of the nearby Hult Center for the Performing Arts.

Lon Davis returns for his10th season hosting the Willamette Oaks Silent Film Series with a salute to the "car that put America on wheels." He will fe
ature hilarious scenes of Laurel and Hardy, Harold Lloyd, Snub Pollard, Billy Bevan and other great comedians of the silent era. Fascinating documentary footage of the Ford assembly line circa 1908 will also be presented. Mary Griggs will provide live piano accompaniment to the films. Special guests will include members of the Horseless Carriage Club of Eugene, who will be arriving for the afternoon show in authentic 1920s Model T Fords. A special meet-and-greet will be held in the Willamette Oaks parking lot at 12:30

Eugene’s foremost resident performing company is known for its graceful and often brilliant handling of classical repertoire. They always manage a surprising twist to each performance that brings us to our feet with a roar of applause at the end of each program. We welcome them once more to our
stage for an eclectic program entitled Music from the Americas. Principal second violinist Yvonne Hsueh leads off with a jaunty flourish for a delightful musical tour through the best our two continents have to offer. Join us for a musical event you won’t easily forget!

In 1913, Harry Fox introduced the dance that was destined to become the most popular dance of the Twentieth Century. The fox trot, after many musical and stylistic changes, was wholeheartedly adopted by even the Hollywood stars. This is your chance to learn the fine details before the Blue Moon dance and concert on April 2nd. Instructor Laura Taylor will make this an exciting and pleasant social evening—and she’s bringing in some very special surprise guests to make that happen. Everyone from the community with an interest in dance is welcome to attend. If you’re an expert, we’ll really be happy to see you.

We’re going all out for what promises to be the gala performance of the year by this 25-strong group of talented, highly-acclaimed actors and singers directed by John Jantzi, noted keyboardist for the Mozart Players. This diamonds-and-pearls evening features an exciting combination of musical delights drawn from top performances at the Hult Center for the Performing Arts. This is a night that will stand out in your mind for years to come.
