Renee is a charismatic speaker who is passionate about treating each person as a unique and whole individual with interrelated needs. • Life Balance Seminar: Gatekeepers Based on ethnographer Joseph Campbell’s work, The Hero with a Thousand Faces, we recognize and reconsider the archetypal gatekeepers in our lives who have played a major role in helping us change direction: the stern teacher, the kind neighbor, the trickster friend, and others. • Love in the Ancient World Our modern concept of love and romance, roses and hearts has only shallow roots. Trace love’s time-worn ancient definitions and conventions through the ancient poetry of Greece, Israel, China, India, and Mesopotamia with Professor of Literature, Jim Earl.
